From March 3rd to 6th, 2022, Inis Mór in the Aran Islands will transform into the renowned ‘Craggy Island’ for a weekend of high-jinx.
Craggy Island’s ecumenical craic awaits visitors. Aside from the annual Lovely Girls Competition, highlights of TedFest 2022 include Ted’s Got Talent, Craggy Island’s fittest family, Matchmaking with Nellie, Priests Dance Off, Pan Asian Zen-Off, Father Ted Prizeless Quiz, the Craggy Cup, Blind Date and more. www.tedfest.org has tickets now.
Original cast members Joe Rooney (Fr Damo) and Patrick McDonell (Eoin McLove) are also confirmed for 2022! With or without Willie, Craggy Island’s most beloved vocalist usually draws a crowd.
This year’s wonderful girls are competing for the coveted title of Lovely Girls. Ted’s Got Talent is a great hit.
The best-loved TV show in Ireland is honoured at Tedfest, with lots of tea and sandwiches, red tank-tops, running nuns, priests, map-cap costumes, and a bishop getting a kicking. Tedfest, which took place in 2020 before the closure, may be the first event to take place after the lockdown!
Trad for Trocaire will undoubtedly bring out the dancing priests and raise some money for a good cause that won’t just “rest in our account.” The Aran Islands Hotel on Inis Mor will host the Music Stages, the Craggy Craic Den, and the entire expanded line-up.
The organisers are urging the seventeen million contrite brethren who have yet to attend TedFest to act quickly as tickets are limited to the amount of lodging available on the island. TedFest is very unique!
