ITV shows go off air after suspicious package prompts security alert

Neither This Morning nor Loose Women were able to air their live broadcasts on Monday morning.

Live broadcasts on ITV have been canceled after a suspicious package was found near the London studios where they are filmed.

The unexpected disappearance of This Morning and the absence of a live Loose Women show on Thursday had viewers scratching their heads.

When police discovered a suspicious package and evacuated the area, the White City and Wood Lane tube stations were shuttered.

ITV’s live show

At 11:14 a.m. on Thursday, police were dispatched to Wood Lane in White City.

This Morning’s live broadcast ended and a pre-recorded compilation show began at that point.

Additionally, a prerecorded edition of the show, Loose Women, was shown.

On Thursday, March 10, at 11:14 a.m., police received a report of a security alert at Wood Lane in White City.

Unusual material has been uncovered, according to the reports.

White City and Wood Lane tube stations were briefly blocked as a precaution.”

“The event was put out of its misery around 12:49 p.m.

“An investigation is currently underway,” states the statement.

During the final fifteen minutes of the live show, This Morning took an advertisement break, but when it returned, an old episode of the show was being aired.

An intro video featuring Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield kicked off the show.

“Welcome to This Morning,” Schofield remarked. For those of you who can’t join us in person, we’ve put together a collection of some of our most memorable moments.”

A tree-hugger and “Britain’s dullest man” were interviewed in the re-run episode.

Loose Women, the ITV panel program that follows This Morning, did not run a live show either.

A “very special episode” of Loose Women featuring highlights from the Life Before Loose series was presented instead, with host Nadia Sawalha informing viewers as much.

“We sorry for the break-in live programming today,” This Morning and Lose Women tweeted. To keep you informed of our progress, we’re now playing back previously recorded material.

“Due to a possible security warning, the building where ITV daytime broadcasts were safely evacuated,” a spokeswoman for ITV stated.

It has been resolved and personnel has returned to the premises following the police’s all-clear. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are pleased to inform you that the schedule has been restored.
