Eminem workout routine occurs on alternate days like running on the day first and working out on the other day. After recovering from overdosing, the world-famous American rapper, Eminem focuses on his health and diet very seriously. For staying healthy, Eminem workouts six days a week and one day rest. this includes cardio, running and strength training, and core exercises which are beneficial for his health.

Who is Eminem?

Eminem is an American rapper known professionally as Marshall Bruce Mathers III and became famous by introducing hip hop music to Middle America and is considered one of the greatest rappers around the globe.

He emerged as the world’s most famous White rapper of all time and removed racism. His first debut album ‘the infinite and EP (extended play) like ‘Slim Shady gained popularity, and later his next two albums became worldwide and won Grammy awards for this.

He became a drug addict for a while and stay cut off from his work for about 4 years. After 4 years, he returned with his new album ‘Recovery and it became the best-selling album of all time. Above that, he worked in various films and television series.

Eminem is considered the best-selling artist of all time and has 220 million records worldwide. Also, the best-selling male music artist in the 2010s. On billboards 200, 10 No. one album he has had and become a successful artist. He won many accolades like American Music Awards, Grammys Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards, and Academy awards.

Eminem workout routine:

While Eminem became a drug addict in 2007, he gained a lot of weight and for that, he worked hard to lose weight. In his interview, he said he started feeling healthy when he replaces his addiction with exercise. He passionately tried to lose weight by running on a treadmill and by being sober. He also said, he felt troubled in sleeping but by exercising he sensed his endorphin high which was quite helpful for his sleeping pattern.

According to Eminem, the intake of Vicodin and Valium left a small hole in the stomach area which causes trouble for him. To elude this stomachache, he started constantly eating. This causes Eminem to extreme running.

Eminem's workout routine

A lot of running causes him to injure himself because 17 miles on the treadmill a day is a lot. Eminem used to run 7 miles before going to the studio for music. This was helpful for his weight loss.

Eminem workout plan:

When he started an extreme workout routine, he did running on day one and then an insanity workout on the other day, because he workouts on alternate days. Then sometimes running missed out and the insanity workout of Eminem won.

Eminem did p90X, Shaun T’s inanity and body beast, sometimes, and also did an abs workout. Also, Eminem’s workout routine involves lifting free weights before he goes to the studio. Furthermore, Eminem’s workout consists of

  • Pull-ups
  • A bench
  • Leg Routine

Eminem’s alternate day’s workout routine:

Monday- Cardio

He does cardio on Monday because fat burning is the main purpose of doing cardio exercises. As he loves running, so Monday is his running day.

In his cardio, he runs 18 miles as discussed before.

Tuesday – Back and biceps

  • EZ- bar curls (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • Reverse barbell curls (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • Oblique crunches (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • T-bar (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • Knee-tuck jumps (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • Cable rows (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • Hammer curls (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • Chin-ups (4 sets, 10 reps)

Wednesday- Glutes and Legs

  • Dumbbell reverse lunges (5 sets, 8 reps)
  • Bulgarian split squats (5 sets, 8 reps)
  • Squat thrust (5 sets, 8 reps)
  • Stiff leg deadlifts (5 sets, 8 reps)
  • Dumbbell lateral lunges (5 sets, 8 reps)
  • Goblet squats (5 sets, 8 reps)
  • High ball plank (5 sets, 8 reps)

Thursday – Boxing

Boxing helps in losing weight by hitting a bag, so Eminem finds it very effective. Before starting, he does some warm-ups like 20 pushups, jump rope, and 20 squats, then start the boxing session

Friday – Core training

  • Oblique crunches (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • Pushups to jackknife (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • Sledgehammer (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • KB swing (4 sets, 10 reps)
  • Twisting shoulders (4 sets, 10 reps)

  • High knees (3 sets, 20 reps)
  • Shuffle jump tucks (3 sets, 15 reps)
  • Plank get-up reps (3 sets, 10 reps)
  • Pencil jumps (3 sets)
  • Kettlebell swing reps (3 sets, 10 reps)

Sunday- rest day of Eminem

Eminem thinks when we start doing something where we find any progress then it became hard for us to quit or give up. This motivates him to exercise and to return to the music industry once again and begin his musical career all over again.

The diet plan of Eminem is very healthy as he takes care of his diet plan very cautiously. After recovering from the drug addiction, Eminem stick to a healthy diet and focuses on essential nutrients, and tried to quit alcohol and drugs.

Green juices, egg white, Kale smoothie


Grilled veggies, turkey breasts, baked sweet potato


Steamed veggies, Fish, Steaks

That was his diet plan and workout routine. For extras, he takes different supplements for burning fat, improving his stamina, and achieving muscular hypertrophy.
